English and History Week of 3/26-30

MARCH BOOKS DUE MONDAY!!! Oral presentations on M, T, W.

Field trip to the county science fair will be on Friday. We'll leave at 10 AM and return before Health class at 2:20. Picnic in the park and Easter Egg Hunt.

Spelling- Lesson 27. Mon- 3x ea 1-25, Tues- 3xea 26-50, Wed- Book, Thurs-Prac. Test, Fri- Test

Language-
Mon- 230-231
Tues- 232-234
Wed- Limericks
Thurs- Correct and Collect Unit 10

Literature Circles- Groups must have final meeting by Wednesday. Group project will be an Action Plot-o-graph due Friday.

History-
Mon- Read and discuss The Maya 326-329, notes, Lesson Review and Packet as homework
Tues- Read and discuss Mound Builders 330-333
Wed- Lesson review and packet
Thurs- Group posters to represent Olmec, Maya and Mound Builders

PE- Both Tuesday and Thursday.

Field trip Friday. Please bring in donations for our egg hunt.

Spelling- None this week.

Language- In Writing Workshop, choose one poem and one story to publish this week. Think of a creative way to publish your poem. Stories should be typed and edited!!

Literature Circles-
Wednesday is the last day to meet. Each group will create a collage representing their book. Be prepared to share on Thursday.

History- Posters need to be ready for presentations on Tuesday morning when you arrive. Presentations should be 5 minutes or longer. Students will take notes. Presentations will be spread between Tuesday and Wednesday. Everyone will take notes on the poster information on Thursday. Reports are due after Easter Break.

PE- both Tuesday and Thursday.
