Financial aid is available to students who are currently enrolled at City Tree Christian School (CTCS). We will also consider applications from students who are enrolling in our school for the first time. We offer the following types of financial assistance:
Short-Term Tuition Assistance:
Financial aid is to help a family on a short-term basis to cover an unforeseen situation including, but not limited to, loss of employment, family crisis, or illness. Aid may be granted for entire or partial tuition. Typically given for two to six months, but can be granted for as long as eight months without reapplying.
Financial aid to help a family who cannot afford the full tuition amount. This is usually given for an entire school year. Typically, reductions of $20.00 to $200.00 a month on tuition may be given. Financial Assistance is not given for extended care or registration amounts. Reduced tuition is granted one year at a time. We can not guarantee that assistance will continue from year to year; families must apply each year for reduced tuition.
City Tree is able to offer assistance based on merit. In addition to family need, the qualifications for this scholarship are based mostly on academics, citizenship, and overall school community service. Based on his/her time here at City Tree, your student may be eligible for such a scholarship. All scholarship applicants must complete the same paperwork, but each student’s achievement and overall contribution to our school community are taken heavily into account for a Merit Scholarship.
If you would like to be considered for Financial Aid please complete an application by downloading the form here or stopping by the school office to pick up the paperwork. You must also attach your most recent federal income tax return. All information will be kept confidential. Applications are due in April. They are reviewed by the CTCS School Board.
Assistance is given based on financial need, merit and City Tree Christian's ability to meet that need. Priority is given to families who have a long-term supportive relationship with City Tree Christian School and/or First Presbyterian Church. Students must be in good academic and behavioral standing with the school in order to be considered for assistance and to continue to qualify for assistance.
After first touring the school, new students may complete a financial aid application. Students who are new to our school will also need to have two recommendation letters completed.
