The
second grade child is becoming a more independent learner. They are developing
skills to help them make choices and take responsibility for their own
learning. Our goal is to meet the developmental, academic, social, and
spiritual needs of our students. City Tree Christian School has adopted
grade level standards in each subject area. The teachers at City Tree
use a multifaceted approach in an effort to reach all children with various
learning styles. Below you will find a summary of the main second grade

to share their knowledge with others.

Memory Verse Program - an optional program where students
memorize verses related to chapel lessons
