Western Association of Schools and Colleges Accreditation
In early 2007 City Tree Christian School submitted our
comprehensive self-study for the purposes of accreditation. After reading
the entire self-study report, the Western Association of Schools and
Colleges (WASC) Visiting Committee, a team of educators from WASC-accredited
schools, visited our campus on March 25-29, 2007 in an effort to determine
to what degree our school has successfully met the goals and objectives.
Over the course of the four day visit, the committee met with faculty,
staff, students, parents and board members.
After their visit, the committee made written comments
on each of the chapter reports; this full report is available for review
in the City Tree office. The report, along with the committee's recommended
terms of accreditation, were submitted to the accrediting body of WASC
who in turn reviewed the full report.
We are delighted to report that City Tree Christian
School was granted a full six year term of accreditation. The term of
the accreditation will expire in June of 2013.
